Abstract

Tahfidz Takhassus Daarul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School is one of the educational institutions that produces generations of Qur'an memorizers. The audience of this activity is the students and the management of the Islamic boarding school with a total of 36 participants. This activity is carried out using the lecture method, video showing and discussion. Community service activities at the Tahfidz Takhassus Islamic Boarding School Daarul Qur'an Palembang went well. Participants who took part in this activity were students and management of the pesantren. Students, teachers and management enthusiastically participated in the socialization of organic waste management using BSF maggots. Utilization of BSF maggots in organic waste processing can reduce waste, create new jobs or businesses, residue of solid waste can be used as compost, and BSF maggot larvae can be used as animal feed..
