The partners targeted for the activity are members of the Suka Maju farmer group. The partners own 82 cows and 37 goats. On the other hand, there is a lot of cavendis banana stem waste that has not been utilized, and has even become waste that pollutes the environment. On the other hand, breeders often have difficulty getting forage because it has become plantation and agricultural land. Based on these problems, discussions and coordination were carried out with partners and an activity proposal was agreed in the form of training on banana stem fermentation as feed for ruminants such as cows and goats. This activity aims to increase farmers' knowledge and skills regarding processing fermented feed from banana stems. The approach used in this service activity is the party-cipatory rural approach (PRA), namely an educational process through counseling, training, and practice of making fermented banana stems. Service activities start from coordinating with farmer groups to agree on technical activities. The education activity was carried out for 1 day regarding the potential of waste for animal feed, and the fermentation process of cavendis banana stems. After the counseling activities, it continued with the practice of making fermented banana stems. The feed composition consists of 90% banana stems plus 10% bran. As an activator, EM4 1% is used. After fermentation for 21 days, fermented feed is given to cows as a substitute for forage. The conclusion of the service is that the coordination, counseling and practice of making fermented banana stems went well.
